Easily-replaceable wiping seal dispensing cartridge is especially suitable for liquids that tend to form crystals
- Quick-change cartridge makes service a breeze and keeps life-time service costs low
- Pump assembly with corrosion resistant spring has opaque upper sleeve that protects liquid from UV-light during dispensing operations
- Telescoping filling tube adjusts to fit many bottles without cutting
- Threaded safety cap attaches and removes with a quick twist
- Spring-loaded piston permits one-handed, semi-automatic operation
Liquids unsuitable for the seripettor pro include, but are not limited to:
- Hydrofluoric acid, or other chemicals that attack high-density polyethylene,PTFE, ETFE, FEP, PFA, alumina-ceramic, platinum-iridium, and borosilicate glass
- Carbon disulfide
- Density exceeding 2.2g/cm
- Viscosity exceeding 300mm2/sec (2mL instrument), 150mm2/s (10mL instrument), 75mm2/s (25mL instrument)
- Vapor pressure up to 500mbar
Agar culture media to 140°F (60°C).
